Tender & Contracts Engineer

Job Description

  • Prepare, submit, and manage technical and commercial tenders and contract documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to compile comprehensive bid proposals.

  • Analyze competitor pricing and market conditions to propose competitive bids.

  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to protect the company's interests.

  • Support project teams in understanding contract obligations.

  • Monitor contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Evaluate risks and opportunities associated with each tender.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Preparation and Management

  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications received from clients.

  • Analyze competitor pricing and market conditions to propose competitive bids.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Legal departments.

  • Compile comprehensive bid proposals.

Risk Assessment and Opportunity Evaluation

  • Evaluate risks and opportunities associated with each tender.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of Contract Management or Degree in Engineering with proven Contract Management experience.

  • A minimum 8 years' experience in working on Water/Wastewater Projects as Contracts Engineer.

  • Good knowledge of FIDIC, contracts models such as PPP contracts, change evaluation, and admin procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills.
