A Professional Liaison Role to Foster Business Growth and Compliance

Job Description:

This role is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between our organization and government authorities. The successful candidate will be in charge of handling all aspects related to work permits, residency permits, employment visas, exit/re-entry visas, and family visas.

The job holder will manage attestation of documents and contracts required by authorities. Additionally, they will coordinate with customs authorities and logistics providers to ensure timely and compliant clearance of imported goods, office equipment, or company materials.

An essential part of this role involves ensuring that all imports/exports meet local customs regulations and company compliance standards. This includes preparing and submitting required customs documentation, including invoices, certificates of origin, and other supporting documents.

The incumbent will act as the liaison between internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Admin) and customs officials to resolve any clearance issues or delays. They will maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and ensure timely payment of duties and taxes when applicable.

This role also requires the ability to handle the registration and renewal of commercial licenses and company-related certifications. The job holder will stay up-to-date on local labor laws, immigration rules, and government policy changes.

They will advise HR and management on compliance risks and required updates to HR or business processes. It is essential that all employee-related government transactions are handled according to the law.

The ideal candidate will partner with HR, Admin, and Mobility teams to support employee relocation and onboarding. They will also support audits or inspections from government bodies and prepare required documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer (minimum 3 years).
  • Familiarity with digital government portals.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and immigration regulations.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Driving license with own vehicle.
