Job Title: Pool and Beach Monitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Pool and Beach Monitor. This role involves ensuring the safety of patrons by monitoring activities and responding promptly to emergencies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor pool and beach activities for any signs of distress, maintaining vigilance at all times.
  • Perform water rescues using effective techniques and equipment, providing immediate assistance to distressed swimmers.
  • Administer first aid and CPR in emergency situations, demonstrating composure and professionalism under pressure.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and facilities, reporting any hazards or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Educate patrons about pool rules and safety practices, fostering a culture of safety and awareness among all users.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in lifeguarding and water safety are preferred.
  • Current certifications in CPR and first aid, with knowledge of emergency response procedures.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of lifeguarding experience in a pool or beach setting, demonstrating reliability and competence.
  • Strong physical fitness and swimming abilities, with the capability to perform rescues in various conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively relay information and instructions to patrons and team members.
