
Senior Event Coordinator

The Banquet Supervisor is a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of events at our hotel.
Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and organized individual to oversee all aspects of banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
- This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate with staff, ensure timely and courteous service, and maintain high-quality guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination: Supervise and coordinate all banquet staff during events to ensure seamless execution.
- Setup and Service: Ensure event setups align with client specifications and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), oversee food and beverage service, and communicate with kitchen staff regarding menu changes, dietary needs, or timing.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet spaces.
- Training and Development: Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to review event details, timelines, and responsibilities, train and mentor banquet servers and support staff.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory and proper storage of banquet equipment and supplies.
- Guest Experience: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, handle guest inquiries, and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
- Reporting and Feedback: Prepare event reports and feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or management education preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in banquet or event operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, proficient in banquet operations software and basic MS Office tools.
