Experiences Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Experiences Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences at our resort.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure seamless operations.
  • Create and conduct excursions and activities that provide a high standard of service to guests while prioritizing their safety and satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate information about available activities, equipment usage rules, and regulations to guests.
  • Foster an exceptional guest experience by ensuring Experiences hosts deliver outstanding service, exceeding guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, F&B, and other departments to meet guest needs and oversee the smooth operation of guest experiences.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all resort facilities and services, understand policies on reservations and no-shows, and determine activity rates based on resort selling tactics.
  • Interact professionally, courteously, and positively with guests and hosts, proactively seeking feedback to enhance the guest experience.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure, addressing complaints and carrying out service recovery or delegating this to hosts as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Up hold operational standards and performance benchmarks.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management, with over three years of experience in a comparable hotel operational role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with hotel systems such as OPERA, and knowledge of policies related to guest activities and excursions.
  • Experience with hospitality operations, including emergency drills, water sports, and recreational facilities.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to live in remote locations for extended periods and travel on single status.
