About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef De Cuisine to join our team. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement menus that meet the high standards of our brand, taking into account nutritional and sustainability requirements.
  2. Manage inventory and supplies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  3. Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service and quality.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  5. Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that they remain within budget.
  6. Foster a positive and productive team culture, encouraging open communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field, with advanced knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredient management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit, as required by local regulations.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
