Our leading company in the food and frozen goods trade in Oman is looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing FMCG to join our growing team in Muscat.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales and Marketing Supervisor in the Food and Frozen Goods Division, located in Muscat. The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading the sales and marketing activities. This includes developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a sales team, conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, and building and maintaining relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for food and frozen products.
- Build and strengthen relationships with current and potential customers.
- Identify and analyze local market needs and consumer behavior.
- Negotiate deals and conclude contracts with suppliers and retailers.
- Monitor monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports on a regular basis.
- Represent the company at trade shows and related events.
- Work on the development of new products in coordination with the development team.
- Manage marketing campaigns via social media and other marketing platforms.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Three years of experience in sales and marketing of food and frozen goods in Oman.
- In-depth knowledge of the food market in Oman and the Arabian Gulf.
- Strong network of relationships with retailers, shopping centers, restaurants, and hotels.
- Excellent understanding of supply chains and storage methods for frozen foods.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Valid driving license.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve the required goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Familiarity with food-related legislation in Oman.
- Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of data.
