Role Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Administration & Accounting Officer
to manage day-to-day administrative operations while handling essential accounting and financial tasks. This role requires a highly organized individual who can multitask, work independently, and support management in maintaining smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
a) Administrative Duties
- Manage office operations, schedules, meetings, and documentation
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital & physical)
- Prepare letters, reports, and meeting minutes
- Coordinate with the clients ,suppliers, and service providers
- Assist with HR support: attendance, leave records, onboarding paperwork
- Provide general administrative support to management
b) Accounting & Finance Duties
Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records
- Handle invoices, receipts, payments, and petty cash
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly financial reports and expense summaries
- Assist with VAT filing and compliance with Omani financial regulations
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years' experience in administration and/or accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, invoicing, and basic financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, etc.)
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred Skills
- Experience in legal or professional services firms
- Strong English and Arabic communication
- Problem-solving and ability to take initiative
