Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Specialty Coffee Barista located in Muscat. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages while delivering excellent customer service. Daily tasks include brewing coffee, creating hand-crafted espresso drinks, maintaining cleanliness of workstations, managing inventory, and educating customers about coffee origins and brewing methods. The individual will also ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

  • Barista skills such as coffee preparation, espresso beverage creation, and latte art
  • Knowledge of coffee origins, brewing techniques, and serving recommendations
  • Customer service and communication skills with a focus on creating a positive customer experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a high-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a coffee shop or hospitality industry is a plus
  • Basic understanding of cash handling and inventory management
  • Flexibility and a willingness to learn new techniques and products
