About the Role

We are currently looking for an Technical Trainer/Instructor to play an active part to develop a team of technicians, underpinned by the Brand standards.
The role will cover training needs analysis with subsequent development and implementation of technical training programs utilizing a blended learning approach, including impact measurement

Key Accountabilities:

* Actively promote the automotive group associate and customer engagement activities.
* Deliver engaging technical training to ensure that all distributor and company policies and procedures are adhered to, in line with Honda quality standards.
* Create and encourage positive, energetic, memorable and productive learning environments for all participating associates.

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this opportunity the selected candidate will need to have the following skills, attributes and qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

* High level of proficiency in both written and Spoken English, (additional languages advantageous)
* Full driving License

A High Level Qualification in:

* Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering
* Adult learning or training and assessment certificate or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

* At least 2-5 years Technical Training or Coaching role
* At least 5 Years Automotive Industry Experience
* Proficient to Master Technician Level or industry equivalent
* Customer Facing Role Experience
* Ability to demonstrate modern vehicle diagnostic and repair methods

Job-Specific Skills:

* Ability to train and coach, build relationships and utilize skills appropriately
* Ability to provide outstanding customer service
* Ability adjust priorities and structure time wisely in a fast paced environment
* Ability to maintain strong administration skills
* Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others to understand material, and provide instructions to all employees.
* PC Literate, proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
* Ability to develop tailored training materials to suit the local marketآ
