Overview

Housekeeping & Facilities Supervisor oversees daily operations to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment by managing staff, inspecting cleanliness, controlling inventory, and responding to guest needs. Key responsibilities include scheduling staff, training employees, managing budgets and supplies, performing quality checks, and coordinating with other departments for repairs and maintenance to uphold high hygiene and service standards in facilities like hotels, offices, and other spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff, monitoring their performance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Oversee the cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, conducting regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are met.
  • Inventory Control: Manage and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other consumables, reordering them as needed and ensuring they are not wasted.
  • Guest/Resident Satisfaction: Ensure guest satisfaction through responsive service and quality housekeeping.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all staff follow proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and regulations, including handling cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and make effective decisions.
  • Customer Service Focus: Maintain a service-oriented approach to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Organizational Skills: Manage schedules, tasks, and inventory effectively.
