Duties and Responsibilities – About the RoleThe Channel Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with channel partners to drive sales and revenue. This includes identifying and onboarding new partners, providing support and training, and managing the performance of existing partners.
Internally, the Channel Manager collaborates with various teams within Exclusive Networks, including Internal Sales, External Sales, Vendor Managers, Pre-sales, Marketing, Back Office, Logistics, and Finance. The role involves informing and coordinating with these teams to expand and facilitate business growth.
Reporting to the Channel Director, the Channel Manager will:
- Identify and onboard new channel partners.
- Provide support and training to ensure partner success.
- Manage and develop strategies to improve the sales and revenue of existing partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to achieve mutual goals.
- Coordinate with the Vendor team to align sales and channel efforts.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Create and manage channel partner budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and implement partner programs, including training, marketing, and incentives.
- Measure and report on partner performance using relevant metrics such as sales and revenue.
- Resolve conflicts and challenges within the channel.
- Support partners with product and solution guidance.
- Attend industry events and conferences to foster relationships and promote the company.
The ideal Channel Manager will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in channel management or sales, preferably in Oman.
- Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to partners and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- A desire to learn and grow within the channel management field.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
