About the RoleThe Channel Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with channel partners to drive sales and revenue. This includes identifying and onboarding new partners, providing support and training, and managing existing partners' performance.
Internally, collaboration with teams such as Internal Sales, External Sales, Vendor Managers, Pre-sales, Marketing, Back Office, Logistics, and Finance is essential to expand and facilitate the business. The Channel Manager reports to the Channel Director.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and onboard new channel partners.
- Support and train partners to ensure success.
- Manage and improve the performance of existing partners.
- Develop strong relationships with partners to achieve mutual goals.
- Coordinate with the Vendor team to align efforts.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors.
- Create and manage budgets and forecasts for channel partners.
- Develop and implement partner programs such as training, marketing, and incentives.
- Measure and report on partner performance using relevant metrics.
- Resolve conflicts within the channel.
- Support partners with product and solution guidance.
- Attend events and conferences to promote the company and build relationships.
- 3-5 years of experience in channel management or sales in Oman.
- Proficiency with CRM software.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to partners and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain partner relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
