Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Guest Service Agent located in Masqat, Oman. The Guest Service Agent will be responsible for welcoming and checking in guests, handling reservations, providing information about the hotel and local attractions, and addressing guest inquiries and complaints. Day-to-day tasks include managing the front desk operations, processing payments, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining hospitality standards. Additionally, the agent will oversee room assignments, coordinate with housekeeping, and ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in front desk operations and handling reservations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address guest inquiries and complaints
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and managing payment processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
  • Fluency in English and additional language skills are beneficial
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus
