Job Overview: We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our Masqat, Oman office. This role involves managing the front desk, greeting and assisting visitors, handling phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. The ideal candidate should be organized, efficient, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk area, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, arranging appointments, and organizing office supplies.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and shipments.
- Maintain office security by ensuring visitor logs and providing access control when necessary.
- Support the HR and office management teams with basic administrative tasks, as needed.
- Assist in managing conference room bookings and ensuring meeting spaces are set up appropriately.
- Manage office inventory, including ordering supplies and keeping stock organized.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or receptionist training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers, and computers).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to assist in other administrative duties when needed.
