Based at InterContinental Muscat, this position manages restaurant operations by achieving business objectives through customer-focused service delivery. Promotes the desired work culture based on the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team, and Service of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

  • Maintaining Trader Vic's international brand standards to ensure consistency in atmosphere, signature drinks, and culinary offerings.
  • Preparing monthly reports on financial and product issues.
  • Controlling and analyzing departmental costs to meet budget, implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Managing staffing costs by creating efficient work schedules in line with legal requirements.
  • Coordinating the preparation of the departmental annual budget and working to achieve it by monitoring operations, revenues, and expenditures.
  • Overseeing the implementation of standards as per departmental manuals.
  • Ensuring adherence to opening and closing procedures and bill paying procedures.
  • Conducting shift briefings to inform staff of VIPs, special occasions, and upselling opportunities.
  • Motivating staff to provide excellent service during all shifts.
  • Sharing guest feedback with the Chef and Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Developing and implementing a Promotions Calendar for F&B products.
  • Attending departmental meetings.

What we need from you:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 4–5-star hotel.
  • Excellent knowledge of beverages, including alcohol.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing); Arabic is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Micros operating systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
