Role Description

">

The Sales and Business Development Engineer will be responsible for identifying opportunities for local product and service portfolio solutions, planning sales volumes, and ensuring up-to-date market information. They will work closely with proposal management and other professionals to prepare, coordinate, and negotiate proposals.

Responsibilities

">
  • Spot opportunities for local product and service portfolio solutions (upgrading and modification, spare parts, Service contracts, digital services) for protection, automation, low & medium voltage systems.
  • Plan sales volumes and potentials of all customers.
  • Evaluate internal and external partners to ensure up-to-date market information.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and negotiate proposals in cooperation with proposal management and other involved professionals.
  • Build and maintain a customer-focused network.

Requirements

">

The ideal candidate should have:

">
  • A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably within Oman.
  • Experience working in Oil & Gas and Utility Sector.
  • Hands-on experience working with Electrical products - LV, Switchgear, protection automation.
