As a Senior Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the Commercial department by supporting the Utilities Sales Manager in implementing marketing strategies to maximize sales and increase revenue. This position involves establishing relationships with customers, identifying market trends, and developing effective responses to changes in the marketing environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Build strong relationships with customers through personal contact, telephone, and email to establish trust and credibility.
  2. Supervise follow-up on order status and resolve any queries or concerns that may arise.
  3. Coordinate with finance to book metals at the London Metal Exchange based on sales orders.
  4. Manage payment collections with finance and logistics departments.
  5. Work with the Customer Support Service department to issue sales orders and related documentation.
  6. Prepare invoices for customers and ensure timely payments.
  7. Oversee the smooth transfer of goods and provide after-sale services if required.
  8. Plan, organize, and prioritize activities such as prospecting calls, customer appointments, care visits, follow-up calls, training, demonstrations, and internal meetings.
Key Deliverables:
  1. Submit sales quotations and negotiate with customers to convert inquiries into sales orders.
  2. Process sales orders and obtain necessary technical approvals from customers.
  3. Coordinate internally with planning and technical departments for processing inquiries and sales orders.
  4. Evaluate market potential and competitive influences in assigned territories.
  5. Negotiate cost-effective contracts with selected customers and companies.
  6. Present accurate and timely reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing, or Diploma in Marketing, Commerce, or Economics.
