Job Description

  1. The Cluster Revenue Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability for Alila Jabal Akhdar and Alila Hinu Bay. This role involves both strategic oversight and tactical management of revenue operations across all revenue streams.

  2. The Revenue Manager will collaborate with sales, marketing, and operational teams to optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies, while preserving luxury brand standards and guest experience.

  3. The Reservations department will report directly to the Revenue Manager to ensure alignment with the overall revenue strategy.

  4. This includes developing and implementing strategies to optimize total hotel revenue (room revenue, F&B, spa, etc.) at both hotels.

  5. The Revenue Manager will conduct market analysis to determine optimal rates, segmentation, and sales strategies, and apply dynamic pricing, forecast adjustments, and rate recommendations to meet revenue targets.

  6. In addition, the Revenue Manager will prepare accurate short-term and long-term forecasts to guide leadership in decision-making, monitor and report on KPIs like RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and total hotel revenue.

  7. Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize total hotel revenue (room revenue, F&B, spa, etc.) at both hotels.

    2. Conduct market analysis to determine optimal rates, segmentation, and sales strategies.

    3. Apply dynamic pricing, forecast adjustments, and rate recommendations to meet revenue targets.

    4. Forecasting and Reporting:

      1. Prepare accurate short-term and long-term forecasts to guide leadership in decision-making.

      2. Monitor and report on KPIs like RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and total hotel revenue.

      3. Provide regular revenue reports with insights and action plans to improve performance.

    5. Yield and Inventory Management:

      1. Manage room rates and availability through the central reservation system (CRS) and Revenue Management System (RMS).

      2. Adjust strategies based on market conditions to maximize occupancy and revenue.

      3. Ensure effective management of overbooking, cancellations, and inventory.

    6. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing:

      1. Align revenue strategies with sales and marketing efforts to optimize business performance.

      2. Collaborate on promotional campaigns to drive demand during peak and off-peak seasons.

    7. Competitor and Market Analysis:

      1. Benchmark against competitors and analyze market trends in the luxury hotel sector.

      2. Identify potential new revenue streams and target markets.

    8. Guest Experience & Brand Alignment:

      1. Ensure that revenue strategies enhance the guest experience without compromising brand standards.

      2. Balance revenue optimization with exceptional service delivery.

      3. Utilize revenue management software and tools (e.g., IDeaS, Opera, Tableau) to monitor and adjust pricing strategies.

      4. Stay updated with industry technology to enhance operational efficiency.

    9. Lead and mentor the revenue management team to improve skills in pricing, yield management, and reporting.

    10. Foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

    11. Reservations Department Oversight:

      1. Oversee the Reservations team, ensuring alignment with revenue management goals.

      2. Guide the team in managing room availability and reservations effectively.
