Key Responsibilities
  • Reservations: Takes reservations over the phone, via email, or through online booking systems.
  • Information Gathering: Gathers information about the hotel's amenities, room types, rates, and special promotions to provide to guests.
  • Customer Interaction: Interacts with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolves issues related to reservations, such as date changes, cancellations, or special requests.
  • Revenue Growth: Identifies opportunities to upsell additional amenities or room categories to increase revenue.
  • Data Management: Ensures accurate data entry for recording reservation details, guest information, and payment details.
  • Financial Transactions: Processes payments for reservations, including taking credit card information and securing deposits.
  • Communication: Communicates effectively with other departments within the hotel to ensure guest requests are met.
  • Reporting: Maintains accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and changes for tracking occupancy and revenue.
