Experience the satisfaction of being a leader in our hospitality team as a Housekeeping Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the hotel's culture and guest experience from day one.

The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, order, and comfort in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. They will be responsible for managing a team of room attendants, public area attendants, and supervisors to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, laundry services, and public area maintenance.
  • Leading and managing the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and staff areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and brand standards are consistently met.
  • Maintaining appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment, and managing departmental budgets and cost control.
  • Handling guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and hotel policies.
  • Working closely with Front Office and Maintenance departments to coordinate room readiness and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures and cleanliness checklists.
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives and waste management practices within the department.
  • Maintaining accurate records related to staff schedules, inspections, and maintenance needs.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment, chemicals, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Maestro) and Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
