Executive Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at a luxury resort in Khasab, Oman. As the head of the kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality menus that meet our guests' expectations and reflect the local culture and cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Innovation: Develop innovative menus that showcase local ingredients and flavors while meeting dietary restrictions and guest preferences
  • Culinary Leadership: Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality, manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for food and kitchen supplies
  • Kitchen Management: Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation, safety, and sanitation, collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on current food trends, techniques, and regulations to continuously improve menu offerings

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or restaurant
  • Culinary Creativity: Proven ability to create unique menus that appeal to a wide range of tastes
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Fd Safety Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
  • Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Linguistic Skills: Fluent in English (speaking Arabic is a plus)

Working Conditions:

This is a contract job with no accommodation provided, however free visa and ticket will be provided by the company. The ideal candidate would have at least 12 pass qualifications.
