Commercial Manager – Facility Management

Leading FM company is looking for a Commercial Manager, experienced in Facility Management, to be based in Muscat, Oman.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you shall be responsible for (inclusive but not limited to):

  • Leading the commercial and contractual aspects of FM
  • Preparing and issuing Contract correspondence
  • Preparation, monitoring and updating of Variation schedule
  • Preparation and review of Order of Costs
  • Materials on Site assessments and reconciliation
  • Financial Reporting
  • Liaison with Consulting Engineer and Employer's Representatives wherever required
  • Review of Contractor's Cost Proposals
  • Agreement of Re-measurement methods
  • Payment Recommendation of Monthly Statements/valuations

The successful candidate shall have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Facility Management
  • BSc of HNC qualification or above
  • Preferably at least 3 years GCC or International experience in a similar capacity
  • Proven man management skills and experience

About this Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Commercial Manager within a leading FM company. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of FM, including preparing and issuing contract correspondence, preparation and review of order of costs, materials on site assessments and reconciliation, financial reporting, liaison with consulting engineers and employers' representatives, review of contractors' cost proposals, agreement of re-measurement methods and payment recommendation of monthly statements/valuations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in facility management, a BSc or HNC qualification or above and preferably at least 3 years' GCC or international experience in a similar capacity. Proven man management skills and experience are also essential for this role.
