Housekeeping Operations Manager

The successful candidate will oversee daily housekeeping activities to ensure exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards. A strong track record in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, combined with excellent communication skills, is essential for this position.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively, ensuring that high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained across all areas. Strong organizational and time management skills are also vital to success in this role.

This is a mid-senior level position requiring full-time commitment. It involves managing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and reporting any maintenance issues or deficiencies as required. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular performance evaluations of housekeeping staff.

About the Role:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Team Activities: The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring seamless execution of cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Cleaning Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Customer Service: Address and resolve customer complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly and efficiently.
  • Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations of housekeeping staff to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and report any maintenance issues or deficiencies to the relevant department.
Requirements:
  • Proven Supervisory Experience: A strong track record in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
