Maintain and enhance the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our data center infrastructure. As a Freelance Data Center Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless service delivery to our global operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deploying, configuring, and maintaining servers, networking equipment, and other hardware to guarantee optimal performance and maximum uptime.
  • Monitoring data center operations remotely and on-site, promptly identifying and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting networking devices, including Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Managing and troubleshooting both Linux and Windows-based systems, performing essential updates, patches, and security enhancements.
  • Documenting all installations, repairs, maintenance tasks, and system performance, providing comprehensive reports to our management team.
  • Implementing and maintaining robust security protocols to safeguard the integrity of our data center infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with remote IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to optimize data center operations.
