Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Leader to lead our Grocery Store tMart, a cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices.

Responsibilities
  1. Assume full ownership over category management, encompassing assortment, pricing, offers, and supply.
  2. Monitor the economic performance of assigned departments/categories, ensuring consistency with commercial strategy.
  3. Implement commercial strategy and strategic guidelines, including categories plan and pricing strategy.
  4. Review and resolve issues with local suppliers.
  5. Manage assortment across consumers' needs and wants.
  6. Select local suppliers, negotiate, and purchase based on expected needs and standards.
  7. Pricing items according to pricing guidelines and recommended prices.
  8. Collect market prices and conduct country price audits.
  9. Plan promotions by identifying local promo products and pricing each item, submitting forecasting/reordering information.
  10. Develop a country promotion calendar.
  11. Ensure effective execution of promotional events.
  12. Analyze and provide inputs for more effective promotional activities.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in progressive development and management of multiple product categories in international settings.
  2. Built teams and led cross-functional projects at scale.
  3. Demonstrate detail-oriented, structured, and prioritized task management.
  4. Be willing to take on any necessary tasks for project success, including working on the warehouse floor or making customer deliveries.
  5. Effectively interact with senior-level executives and manage stakeholder expectations.
  6. Maintain a strong focus on learning and adaptability, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  7. Exhibit robust interpersonal and intercultural skills, inspiring teams and stakeholders to rally behind a mission.
  8. Fluent English language skills are highly advantageous.
