Job Overview

The Front Office Host is a pivotal role within our hospitality team, responsible for delivering exceptional reception services to guests. This involves creating a seamless experience from check-in through check-out, ensuring that all guest needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure an effective reception experience for guests, including check-in/check-out and complete audit procedures as required.
  • Maintain open communication with the Front Office Team Leader regarding any relevant feedback from guests and other departments.
  • Provide unparalleled customer service at all times, prioritizing guest satisfaction above all else.
  • Participate in necessary training courses and support the Night Team's development efforts.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and general product knowledge essential for daily duties.
  • Maximize room occupancy by utilizing up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
  • Adhere to established procedures regarding foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash handling in accordance with hotel policy.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff alike.
  • Operate according to company brand standards, maintaining consistency across all aspects of the front-of-house experience.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to provide seamless service delivery.
