Job Title: HR Operations Specialist

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an HR Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for a full range of HR operations and employee relations tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have experience in HR operations and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Key responsibilities will include:
  1. Recruitment & Selection: Support the recruiter in ensuring a smooth transition of candidates from recruiting to the onboarding stage.
  2. Mobilisations / Demobilisations: Responsible for all mobilisation and demobilisation requirements, e.g., air tickets, visa paperwork and processing, temporary accommodation etc. Liaise with HR teams around the globe on mobilisation of existing employees from other locations.
  3. Administration / Systems: Process new hires, salary changes, cost center changes, terminations etc using appropriate systems and procedures. Maintain all employee files.
  4. Operations: Deal with daily HR queries from employees on employment contracts. Liaise with HR teams globally to ensure timely resolution. Liaise with the Company's transaction centre in Dubai on payroll documentation and issues. Conduct exit interviews. Assist with induction of new hires. Travel to remote sites may be required.
  5. Government Relations: Liaise with government relations teams on various visa and compliance processes.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 years of generalist HR experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation, including Senior Management.
  • Previous experience in HR operations essential.
  • Experience working with multi-national workforces.
  • Knowledge of Omani laws is essential.
