Your RoleAbout This PositionThis position involves developing sales within the Industrial Air Division in Oman to meet company goals. The successful candidate will expand our customer base and serve existing customers with our extensive product portfolio.
This role reports to the Business Line Manager – Industrial Air Division.
Main Responsibilities- We need someone who can implement our sales and marketing strategy locally.
- The selected candidate must achieve sales targets by promoting our portfolio to current and new customers within the assigned territory.
- To ensure success, each product should be given a fair chance in the market.
- Increase market share through efficient and proactive sales management.
- Maintain updated market and competitor knowledge.
- Provide timely reports on sales activities and market information.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers.
- Use CRM tools for accurate sales forecasts.
- Foster good working relationships within the team and across divisions to leverage synergies.
- Plan and prioritize personal sales activities to achieve business objectives.
- Support sales processes with effective data and sales tools, including CRM records.
- Be open to all sales calls/channels, in person or digital.
- Stay updated on product features and benefits to effectively sell value.
- Collaborate with the aftermarket team to ensure high customer satisfaction through good after-sales service.
A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in high-quality industrial machinery is required, preferably air compressors. Experience with similar products is an advantage.
Skills and Qualifications- Knowledge of the local market is essential.
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills are necessary.
- Proficient in MS Office tools.
- Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Strong technical background in engineering.
- Negotiation skills for commercial terms.
A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
