Drive Business Growth with ISV Embedded Solutions
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our efforts in driving partnerships for licensing and embedding Ubuntu and Ubuntu Pro into software and SaaS solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the market.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy that targets high-growth opportunities and builds strong relationships with ISV customers and partners.
- Partner Management: Lead customer and partner relationships and interactions through all stages of the sales, customer success and support lifecycle.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and analyze market data to identify new opportunities and optimize sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Alliances, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing colleagues to prospect into ISV accounts, introduce our offerings, and help partners or potential customers develop their products to best leverage our portfolio.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional who is passionate about technology and has a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have:
- Tech Savvy: Extensive experience with the software and SaaS industry, Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred), the open source ecosystem, cloud models, and container service offerings.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of sales strategies, market analysis, and partner management.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to establish strategic relationships with large organizations at all levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, writing, and presentation skills.
