Housekeeping Manager Position Overview

Hotel Location: Muscat, our hotel offers a unique blend of traditional Arabian hospitality and modern amenities.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our housekeeping team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Conduct regular room and public area inspections to ensure consistency with hotel standards.
  • Coordinate with front office and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper in scheduling staff and managing labour costs.
  • Respond to and resolve guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in onboarding and ongoing training of housekeeping personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness and guest service.
