Pizza Restaurant Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day activities, managing staff, controlling costs, and driving profitability while maintaining a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth and efficient service by overseeing daily restaurant operations.
- Maintain consistency in taste and presentation by ensuring all pizzas and menu items are prepared to company standards.
- Monitor food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Reduce waste and maintain optimal food costs by effectively managing inventory, ordering, and stock control.
- Implement and enforce operational policies, SOPs, and quality control measures.
Customer Service and Experience:
- Exceed guest expectations by training and leading staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, inviting, and family-friendly atmosphere in the restaurant.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring a motivated and productive team.
- Schedule shifts and delegate tasks effectively to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and implement staff development programs.
Financial Management:
- Meet revenue and profit goals by monitoring restaurant expenses and sales performance.
- Control labor and food costs while maximizing efficiency.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, POS system management, and daily financial reporting.
Marketing and Promotions:
- Drive traffic and increase sales by supporting local marketing efforts.
- Implement promotional campaigns, special offers, and seasonal menu changes.
- Engage with customers through feedback programs.
Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a pizza chain. A diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, local health regulations).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software, POS systems, and inventory control.
Work Conditions:
