Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hostess to join our Food and Beverage team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.

Mandarin Oriental Muscat is a luxurious urban resort located in a prime beachfront location.

The hotel features 150 stylishly appointed guestrooms and suites, five restaurants and bars, a lush Spa at Mandarin Oriental, and an outdoor swimming pool.

We offer a range of amenities and services, including a fitness center, a business center and meeting spaces.

Our guests enjoy stunning views of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding mountains.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued.
  2. Manage reservations and ensure that all tables are allocated efficiently.
  3. Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
  4. Assist with menu planning and preparation.
  5. Ensure that all public areas of the hotel, including the bathrooms, are kept clean and tidy.
  6. Be responsible for maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues and management.
  • Attention to Detail: The ability to pay attention to detail and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Team Player: The ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of the hotel.
  • Customer Service: The ability to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued.
  • Language Skills: The ability to speak English fluently and preferably other languages.
