Job Title: Incident Management Specialist

We require a skilled Incident Management Specialist to join our team in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring all IT assets of the bank using various tools, ensuring 100% uptime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor critical systems and IT assets using performance and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Riverbed NPM, SolarWinds, and Grafana.
  • Manage incident and problem workflows, including escalation, reporting, and resolution.
  • Coordinate with on-site technical teams for system inspections, emergency repairs, and management.
  • Conduct shift handovers, prepare daily reports, and maintain documentation.
  • Lead crisis management activities, including incident classification, escalation, and war-room management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure swift incident resolution.
  • Generate monthly incident trend reports for review by senior management.
  • Maintain a knowledge library for operational procedures and detection techniques.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through adherence to predefined recovery processes and ongoing monitoring of systems.
Requirements:
  • Experience as an Incident or Problem Manager in IT Application Operations.
  • Proficiency with performance monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Riverbed NPM, SolarWinds, and Grafana.
  • Experience in command center operations and monitoring IT assets.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and crisis management skills.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

A high level of expertise in performance monitoring and IT asset management is essential.
