Hotel Engineer Position

This role is responsible for managing the engineering and maintenance operations of a hotel.

The successful candidate will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs, supervise a team of engineers and technicians, and ensure the physical integrity, safety, and efficiency of the building and its systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily activities of the engineering and maintenance team.
  • Oversee maintenance programs for all hotel systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, maintenance issues, and emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering or maintenance experience in a hotel or commercial facility.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Experience with energy management systems and sustainability practices preferred.
  • Working knowledge of safety and compliance standards (OSHA, fire codes, etc.).
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
