
HR Strategic Leader

As a strategic leader in Human Resources, I will champion the development and implementation of effective HR strategies that align with our organizational vision. Our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky, and pioneering wellness are at the core of everything we do. My key role will be to safeguard these pillars through strategic planning and development, ensuring all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented, embraced, adopted within the resort.
- I will oversee the efficient operation of the Human Resources department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. This includes preparing and implementing the resorts' human resources plan, including manpower plans, benefits and payroll budgets, training and induction plans, and host engagement initiatives.
- I will conduct periodic salary and benefits surveys and make recommendations to remain competitive and in line with local prevailing statutes. Additionally, I will be responsible for host accommodation and facilities, along with the host restaurant and host committee, career fairs, and various other host activities.
- I will champion social and environmental activities in coordination with the Sustainability Manager and coordinate with identified organizations to carry out planned social responsibility initiatives.
- Talent management is crucial for our hotel and Six Senses as a whole. I will continually focus on identifying and developing top talent to drive business success.
- I will assess training and human resources practices regularly to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Furthermore, I will establish and deliver financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability, and ROIC.
- I will operate the property consistently with legal, statutory, and financial requirements, documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices, and budgetary controls.
- To excel in this role, I must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management, along with 4 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar human resources role within luxury resorts is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft computer programs, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as human resources/payroll systems is essential.
- I must have previously led multi-cultural teams within a luxury resort environment.
- An excellent command of written and spoken English is required.
- I must be able to live in a remote location for extended periods and travel on my own.
