Catering Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Catering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing catering operations, leading a team, and delivering exceptional service.

The Catering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. They will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that all events are executed seamlessly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team. They will also have a strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, and be able to implement and maintain high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage catering operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Oversee the logistics of catering events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of quality and hygiene.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in catering or event management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
