About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our front desk team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality guest experiences. Your primary goals will be to:
- Deliver outstanding customer service, responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure that our guests receive accurate and up-to-date information about hotel facilities and services, as well as local attractions and events.
- Process payments, exchange currency, and handle miscellaneous charges, always maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain awareness of room availability, occupancy levels, and rate fluctuations, adjusting your approach accordingly to ensure maximum revenue.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Strong knowledge of our hotel's facilities, services, and local area, including attractions, restaurants, and cultural events.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and multitask, often in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash transactions and processing payments.
- Familiarity with Opera or similar systems, with the ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
