Credit Card Portfolio Manager

Job Summary:

This role involves implementing a strategy to optimize performance drivers and revenue at the portfolio level. The ideal candidate will work with clients to achieve this goal.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage portfolio growth and customer engagement throughout the lifecycle of a card customer.
  • Ensure balanced growth addressing credit, operations, compliance, and service delivery risks.
  • Design and develop best-in-class portfolio programs based on local needs and co-create globally scalable solutions with the central team.
  • Deliver regulatory changes in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining a seamless client experience.
Key Tasks:
  1. Support the development and implementation of strategies to grow the credit card portfolio in line with business targets.
  2. Initiate and manage campaigns across channels to increase spends and balances, as well as enhance customer engagement and balance build.
  3. Contribute to the design and construction of payment plans, implement an effective sales strategy, and optimize revenues for credit card installment plans.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing and analytics teams to segment customers and promote the usage of credit cards.
  5. Assist in implementing a robust customer retention strategy and review consumer behavior to identify improvement opportunities.
  6. Monitor and analyze financial performance, develop forecasts and budgets, and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Enhance the customer experience by identifying pain points and implementing initiatives to improve customer engagement and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in cards product/portfolio management.
  • Regional experience preferred.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Fluent local office language and English required; other languages desirable.
KPIs:
  • Increase in card activation rates.
  • Growth in card spend (domestic and international).
  • Effectiveness of promotional campaigns in increasing card utilization.
