Job Description

The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in the success of our projects from inception to completion. This individual will work in a client environment to effectively achieve project targets from contractors and consultants.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensures a safe working environment at all times during project execution.
  • Supervises ongoing projects as per requirement, including aspects related to quality and safety.
  • Issues daily work permits.
  • Facilitates, coordinates, and reports daily progress on all ongoing projects.
  • Assists in preparing scope documents, contract packages, and reviews legal and insurance requirements for contracts in favor of the company.
  • Works effectively within a multi-disciplinary team consisting of mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and process engineers.
  • Captures and facilitates definition of work scopes and deliverables for various contract packages.
  • Helps in defining policies and procedures for clear communication to the project team.
  • Prepares and follows up on project schedules against which all deliverables are monitored and controlled.
  • Initiates audits and reviews for all project activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, schedule requirements, and company obligations.
  • Initiates risk assessments and develops risk mitigation plans relevant to the project domain and follows up on action plans.
  • Coordinates with Project Management Consultants/other relevant consultants in various project-related activities.
