Job Title: Oman Joint Venture General Manager

We are seeking an accomplished business leader to drive growth in Oman while supporting the successful expansion of our joint ventures.

The role exists to spearhead strategic initiatives, foster strong relationships, and ensure compliance with contractual provisions. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas services industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership
  • Implement policies and decisions made by the Board of Directors
  • Maintain effective day-to-day operations for efficient performance
Organizational Development
  • Propose management structures required for proper management, subject to Board approval
  • Involvement of shareholders in staffing project teams where possible
Compliance and Risk Management
  • E nsure adherence to contractual provisions, standards, and regulations
  • Oversight of works performed according to schedules, budgets, and industry standards
Representation and Communication
  • Represent the company in dealings with employers and third parties
  • Effective communication of project progress and relevant contract matters
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant business startup and management experience
  • Strong business partnering experience
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Experience leading teams
  • Good IT and systems knowledge
  • Understanding of Oil & Gas services business and accounting
  • Deep knowledge of our offerings
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
