Position: Business Developer (Omani National)
Job Purpose
To develop strategic relation with major clients (government & private sector) within Oil & Gas, Power & Utility, B&I and Industry market, and to explore new business opportunities to enhance and maximize Bureau Veritas' presence in Oman and drive sales revenue/growth for the Company in line with the overall business & sales strategy.
Minimum Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration or a relevant field
- Preferably graduated from Sultan Qaboos University
- Good command in English
- Minimum of 3 to 5 (five) years of sales or marketing experience
- Experience in managing key clients would be advantageous
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
- Identify and develop potential new business opportunities, manage major accounts and negotiate major deals with clients to meet growth objectives, to sustain and maximize revenue, and enhance market share and profitability
- Assist Sales Manager in creating local/regional marketing and business development strategies and budgeted sales plans, with the aim of growing a profitable business
- Build and maintain good working relationships with the customers in Oman to strengthen Bureau Veritas' sales base, including scheduling and attending regular client meetings
- Maintain and update a client and market database to enable effective market analysis and provide recommendations/analysis/feedback to Senior Management for all client interactions
- Contribute to the development of the overall financial forecast (P&L) by managing and planning for associated projects in Oman
- Develop and implement pricing strategies across the Oman market in collaboration with the respective Sales/BL/Country Manager to secure new business opportunities and generate revenue
- Responsible for evaluating customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implementing changes to the sales approach as needed
- Provide input to plans in relation to customer events, advertising, marketing, and PR interventions with a view to increasing the brand exposure of the Company in Oman
- Ensure compliance with all relevant (internal and external) regulations including QHSSE requirements using company policies and procedures as appropriate
