Senior Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing strategic client relationships and driving revenue growth.

About the Role
  • This is a key position that requires a strong understanding of account management principles and excellent communication skills.
  • You will work closely with our Business Development team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of account managers and providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account development plans to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage client interactions, including negotiations, contract renewals, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on sales strategies and tactics.
  • Lead root-cause analysis for recurring client issues and recommend structural improvements.
  • Represent the Account Management function in executive meetings and high-level client forums.
  • Mentor, coach, and motivate team members to raise capability and service standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Commercial Management, Logistics, Industrial Management Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in account management, business development, or related roles.
  • Proven track record in managing strategic client relationships, negotiations, and revenue growth.
  • Familiarity with port and free zone regulations, trade policies, and commercial operations is highly advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of contract structures, legal compliance, and client-facing documentation standards.
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital tools for managing customer interactions and performance data.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align client needs with business objectives.
