Job Title: Policy Coordinator - Sharia Compliance


The primary goal of this role is to oversee and develop policies, procedures, and processes for the Islamic Financial Institution's smooth functioning. This includes analyzing and understanding current frameworks, identifying gaps, and creating new documents based on internal practices and benchmarking with other institutions.


This position requires a deep understanding of Islamic banking operations and a strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be proactive and solution-oriented, and have experience working within similar roles, preferably within Islamic Financial Institutions.


The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, control functions, business units, and other departments to ensure timely review and completion of documentation. They will also be responsible for presenting documents and details to concerned parties, explaining new policies and procedures, and maintaining adherence to compliance standards.


To excel in this role, you should possess a university degree and relevant experience in policy development and implementation, preferably within Islamic Financial Institutions. You must also demonstrate alignment with our mission, vision, values, and operating principles.
