The Key Account Manager for Electrification and Automation Solutions is responsible for developing and managing key accounts in Oman. This involves leveraging expertise in the energy industry to establish and nurture customer relationships, ensuring their security needs are met with our high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieving or exceeding annual sales targets through effective account management and strategic planning.
- Developing and executing tailored account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth. Building relationships with new and existing customers.
- Establishing strong customer relationships based on a deep understanding of their requirements and commitment to delivering value. Creating a foundation for future business opportunities and providing accurate account information and guidance.
- Staying up-to-date with the Oman energy market, including industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies, to remain a trusted advisor to customers.
- Contributing to the development of the designated territory, including account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles.
- Collaborating on the development and delivery of comprehensive business plans that address customer priorities and security challenges.
Demand Generation, Pipeline, and Opportunity Management:
- Maintaining an updated and well-managed sales pipeline, advancing opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Executing the sales strategy and roadmap to successfully close opportunities. Working with sales management on negotiation strategies.
- Understanding our competition and positioning our solutions effectively against them.
- Keeping our CRM system up-to-date with accurate customer and pipeline information.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- At least 12 years of experience in sales of switchgear, energy automation solutions, and protection relays.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and building strong customer relationships.
- Exceptional ability to engage clients at all levels, particularly the C-Suite and Senior Executive level.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Fluent business-level English.
- Strong consultative selling skills, able to partner with clients, establish trust, and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
- Fluent business-level Arabic.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Proven track record of managing key accounts and building strong customer relationships.
- Ability to engage clients at all levels, especially the C-Suite and Senior Executive level.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Business level English: Mandatory, Fluent.
- Consultative selling experience - Able to partner with clients, establish trust, understand their needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
- Local language (Arabic): Fluent, Business Level.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
