In a role of significant responsibility, you will be accountable for developing and growing key client accounts assigned to you.

You will establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, serving as their single point of contact for all matters. This involves understanding their needs clearly, working collaboratively within the organization to meet timelines, and contributing to their success.

The primary duties include:

  • Developing new key accounts and maintaining existing relationships between major clients and our organization.
  • Owning an assigned list of key customers, named accounts, and other accounts, taking end-to-end ownership of key accounts and named accounts.
  • Identifying new projects and orders in the pipeline with key accounts based on relationship and continuous communication.
  • Achieving year-on-year aggressive sales target growth for data communication products and solutions, industrial automation projects, and applications, across various customers and markets within the Middle East territory.
  • Supporting key client requirements, resolving queries to gain maximum confidence, and maximizing business profits.
  • Identifying and developing local system integrators and partners to increase sales of our products and ensure successful implementation and support.
  • Driving the specification of our products in OEM design, end-user projects, and standards, ensuring our brands are registered and approved by major end-users and government entities.
  • Maintaining regular customer meetings to update them about our products and services.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely updates of the CRM system, registering all leads and opportunities, and following up consistently.
  • Closely collaborating with internal stakeholders for order placement, delivery, finance payment collections, and exception approvals.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans to acquire and retain key client accounts.
• Foster strong partnerships with clients, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through effective networking and relationship-building.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills, with the ability to build a network and team environment.
  • Exceptional sales strategy, forecasting, market mapping, data analysis, and negotiation skills.
  • Prior experience managing and developing key accounts, brand distribution, identifying project prospects, and working directly with senior members in government sectors.
  • Technical knowledge of networking, CCTV, wireless technology, and industrial automation, PLC, SCADA.
  • Experience working with automation plants, electric power, water and gas utilities, oil and gas, transportation (road, airports, ports, railways, metro), and government (mission-critical, harsh environment, high availability) is preferred.

  • Maintains excellent working relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Ability to travel as required by business needs.
Education and Experience

University Degree in Sales/Business Management from a recognized university.

Prior experience in distribution of industrial automation, networking, wireless, CCTV, telecommunication product sales is preferred.

Thorough knowledge of local and international laws, regulations, and policies regarding customs, excise, taxes, and internal company processes.

7-10 years of work experience as Account Manager in a similar industry.
