Job Description

The Human Resources Manager role involves providing a high-quality service to the project by ensuring efficient and timely recruitment and mobilization of staff onto the project, as well as effective management of the HR function.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle from interview to mobilization, working closely with the Project Director and hiring managers.
  • Continuously review sources, advertising methods, and agencies to ensure a consistent flow of high-caliber candidates.
  • Ensure the recruitment process is compliant with Company policies and applicable laws.
  • Monitor Omanisation targets and ensure recruitment supports achieving these goals.
  • Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization process with IHR, Regional HR, and project administration.
  • Assist in implementing project HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal Company policy and relevant laws.
Operations:
  • Deal with daily HR queries from employees regarding various employment contracts.
  • Liaise with HR teams globally to resolve queries.

Requirements and Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years' generalist HR experience are required. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization, including Senior Management.

Strong recruitment experience, ideally gained in-house, is essential. Experience in a government relations team and processes is also crucial. Knowledge of Omani laws and Omanisation is mandatory.

Omani nationals are preferred. Familiarity with SAP and applicant tracking systems, such as Taleo, is an advantage. Experience in setting up a newly established entity would be beneficial, as well as experience in projects within the Oil and Gas sector and dealing with OPAL.
