Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the facilities management department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping activities, supervising and training housekeeping staff, conducting regular inspections, managing inventory, and developing schedules to optimize staff efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to maintain cleanliness and order in facilities.
  2. Train and mentor housekeeping staff on best practices, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and address any issues promptly.
  4. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper usage.
  5. Develop and implement schedules to optimize staff efficiency and coverage.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to address specific cleaning needs and ensure seamless operations.
  7. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance and incident reports.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping or facilities management sector.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping.
  • Ability to train and develop team members effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complaints professionally.
