Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues related to housekeeping services.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Report maintenance issues or deficiencies to relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and inventory.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
