Job Description
The Assistant Manager - Oman Branch will be responsible for assisting the country finance manager in managing the finance, administration, procurement, and treasury functions of the Oman branch.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of journal entries and regulatory returns.
- Preparation of management accounts, ALCO pack, and other ad-hoc materials.
- Assistance with VAT and corporate income tax-related filings.
- Preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Carrying out user acceptance tests for new systems.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with 3-5 years of experience.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and banking regulations.
- Deep understanding of standard banking systems and processes.
- Highly analytical and logical thinking skills.
- Prior experience in core banking implementation is an added advantage.
