Job Description

The Assistant Manager - Oman Branch will be responsible for assisting the country finance manager in managing the finance, administration, procurement, and treasury functions of the Oman branch.

Responsibilities

  1. Preparation of journal entries and regulatory returns.
  2. Preparation of management accounts, ALCO pack, and other ad-hoc materials.
  3. Assistance with VAT and corporate income tax-related filings.
  4. Preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  5. Carrying out user acceptance tests for new systems.

Requirements

  1. Qualified accountant with 3-5 years of experience.
  2. Sound knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and banking regulations.
  3. Deep understanding of standard banking systems and processes.
  4. Highly analytical and logical thinking skills.
  5. Prior experience in core banking implementation is an added advantage.
